Hey there, my name is Pat and I feel privileged to be part of this great team and am excited for what’s to come!
I grew up on a small property just outside Toowoomba with my parents, my sister, our 2 dogs, and now I reside on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
I am a long-distance runner and cyclist, which are benefited by my Podiatry qualification.
Before starting with Stepping Out, I worked part-time at an Orthotics Laboratory and a footwear store. These opportunities allowed me to explore my passion further and gain a greater insight into orthotic and footwear prescriptions.
As a Podiatrist I get to assess an athlete’s biomechanics and advise them where they can improve their performance by altering certain aspects of foot and leg alignment and also their muscle performance. This is a big part of Podiatry and is what originally sparked my interest in studying for this degree.
Injury prevention and rehabilitation is an area I am very keen to develop within my Podiatry profession and working at Stepping Out Podiatry enables me to do this, as they have a large athletic community they treat. Helping people get back to doing what they love to do is the best part of the job!
If you are reading this and want to get rid of your foot pain, book in either at the Landsborough, Beerwah or Meridan Plains clinics, and I will help you get there. I can’t wait to meet you!
